bedroom remodel part 1

we started last week on wednesday.

and hope to be all finished by the end of this week.

it's been 8 years.

the last of the rooms to be remodeled.

it's our space.

a love nest.

and it will be given a whole new life!

we can't wait.

vaulted ceilings.

built in dresser drawers.

a fabulous cozy little nook.....

a monster closet that goes from the floor to the ceiling.

a chandelier. {still on the hunt for that}

new windows.

 and i now i have a trip planned to ikea, and a babysitter for the whole day.  can not wait. i am sure i will have no problem spending a $200 gift card i haven't used yet.  i am making a lot of the bedding, and re-using my bed frame, and the curtain rods.  so far the remodel has only cost us  just right under $1000.

now that is fabulous.
and thrifty.
