it's been a hard week.
we lost jay's  grandpa on thursday.
he was sick for a long time, but i have come to the conclusion when you lose someone, it always feels sudden, and you are never prepared.  and you wish you could have had one more hug.
and we are losing a generation in our family.  the grandparents, and my kids great grandparents.
it's strange, and i don't like it.
but i do know these grandparents are tired.  and have lived a long time.

which brings me to last night.  i heard that my grandma is in the hospital.  her heart is only working at 35 %.  and that was when i lost it... again.  i love this woman.  she is a hero.  for taking care of her 5 children, and grand babies, and being a wonderful wife to her high school sweetheart.
